I love how you go step by step and are very clear! However, in 2024 I'm having a hard time with just finding the "express position" part at about 4:30 in the video, because I just don't see it. Has AE updated so that it's a different step now? I'm a beginner with this program, but am very experienced with Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign, and have some experience with basic animation from a long time ago. Hope you can help!

trying this in 2024, when i try to envelop distort 1x1, the grid just goes away and left with just a box. Doesnt seem to work anymore.

This is second time you saved me with your AE tutorials. everyone else's somehow gave me a seam and then trying to make the earth seamless is too ridiculous (sometimes half of countries would be under the sea with the masking). Direct, easy and no problems! Good tutorial.

My goodness. I've gone and spent two days twisting every other particle effect till it almost worked with like 6 layers and stupid render times and then you come waltzing in and just point out that while this effect really wants you to think its only use is as a 3d cannon emitter, it hides a SINGLE SWITCH BOX that does exactly what I needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Saved me from buying particular to boot!
